Any change that puts pressure on one's body, mind, or emotions is considered to be Stress. When faced with challenging situations, we all experience some level of stress. Some of us may feel self-assured and controlled in these situations which helps us navigate them without much discomfort. In this way, stress can motivate us to overcome challenging situations and also help us work toward important goals. However, some of us may start to feel excessively worried, our heart starts pounding, we experience difficulty breathing, sleeplessness, etc., which can start to affect our general well-being and start to make it more difficult to handle day-to-day.
